Laura has been performing since age 4. She first realized her passion for acting when she put on her very own stage version of Saturday Night Live in her backyard. Much to her Mother’s Surprise when she opened the kitchen blinds to find a yard full of people, including the over 50 club, grandparents, neighbors and friends. Yes, little Laura’s $1.00 show tickets were sold out.
Laura has spent her life training and performing in Chicago where she grew up. There she was involved with; The Second City, several theatre productions, short films, a role on CBS’s Early Edition, a national Pert Plus Commercial, and not to mention graduating from Columbia College. She eventually followed her dream to Hollywood, CA where she works in Film and Television. Her love for comedy and admiration for Lucille Ball and John Ritter are what keep her inspired.
Her most recent television work includes CSI: Miami on CBS and a recurring role on TBS’ Frank TV to name a few. Laura wrote, produced, directed and acted in her own two person sketch/improv comedy show with actor and comedy partner Mark McDaniels. It debuted at the Improv Olympic in Hollywood.
